About the job

As a Junior Project Engineer, in collaboration with an enthusiastic and driven team, you are involved in the design of filtration systems in which technology developed by Royal Dahlman is applied. These filtration systems are used in the process industry in the most demanding process and environmental conditions. The design is made according to customer specification and international standards and provides the most optimal solution for our customers. Your home base is the modern headquarters of Royal Dahlman located in Maassluis. By mutual agreement it is also possible to work from home regularly.

As a Junior Project Engineer you become part of a group of (very) experienced project engineers. With their guidance you will be trained to eventually carry out your work independently as a Project Engineer. The Project Engineers are part of the larger team that is responsible for project execution. This team consists of engineers, project support, quality control, service & maintenance.

As a Junior Project Engineer you are involved in the initial design of the installation and in determining the cost price during the quotation stage. During the project execution, you are responsible for delivering a well-thought-out design and delivering the correct documentation on time. Part of this is the execution and/or coordination of engineering deliverables in the project.

Who are you?

The most important thing is that you are a team player! You have HBO working and thinking level and knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and you live in The Netherlands. You have good expression skills, both orally and in writing and you have a good command of the English language. You are able to maintain an overview and structure in situations where different things regularly take place simultaneously. You are professionally critical on details and you have a strong cost awareness without getting stuck in this. Finally, you are customer-oriented and service-oriented and willing to occasionally work abroad.
